Objectives

1. The student will, through readings and research, identify the components of cultural diversity and apply this knowledge to the NEC as well as her clinical practice.
2. The student will identify and develop techniques that foster the success of a committee comprising of strictly volunteers.
3. The student will identify and develop strategies to mentor and advise committee members to allow growth and independent thinking of its members.
4. The student will identify strategies and techniques that foster successful conflict management.
5. The student will implement ideas and strategies that foster a positive environment and experience for all candidates and committee members.
